Infinite Play Roughhousing Seminar

This four-hour seminar will be an exploration of the approach to facilitating rough and tumble play utilized in Infinite Play classes, workshops, and retreats.  There is no methodology or strict structure, but rather ideas and values around the process.  In this way it is more artistic than mechanical.  The seminar will cover the foundations of this process.  The foundational topics to be covered will be playling to keep the play going, playing for the other, listening and sensitivity, and facilitating rather than teaching.  These topics will be explored through both lecture, discussion, and movement.

Attendees should expect to walk away with a basic understanding of facilitating roughhousing, the core concepts of the Infinite Play approach, a number of games, and a greater awareness of the value of playfulness beyond movement.  This is not a certification, but rather an educational seminar for teachers of any kind or interested humans.  The intention…
