Infinite Play Retreat

You are invited to pause the demands of your life and reconnect with a simpler version of yourself. Taking place at the Center at Mariandale on 61 beautiful acres overlooking the Hudson River, this retreat gives you a place to remember what it feels like to play, to dance, to rough house, and to listen with your full body. Become aware and curious of your mindset in situations of surprise and uncertainty. Playfully move your body with both solo time and opportunities to connect, reflect, and practice with others.

No background in fitness or movement required, everyone and all levels are welcome. Please note that there will be hands-on partnering activities. You are highly encouraged to create and express your boundaries.

Please bring comfy clothes to relax in and warm clothes to move in (we will be outside). Please bring appropriate outerwear/footwear for movement sessions. Also consider bringing a journal, a favorite book, or musical instrument. 

Mariandale is LGBTQ and BIPOC friendly.

Mariandale is 5 minutes away from the Croton-Harmon MetroNorth station. Cabs are available at the station for about $10 one-way. Mariandale is handicap accessible.

Pricing and Tier Structure

In an effort to make this event economically accessible we will follow the fair pricing system for payment.  Below are three tiers, and short descriptions of what life might look like at each level.  You can determine on your own which tier you fall into and make your payment accordingly. Price includes lodging, programming, and all meals during the retreat. All rooms are single occupancy, with a sink and shared bathroom. If your situation is still outside of these tiers, please contact us directly. 

For this event, there are no refunds and all sales are final. However, tickets can be transferred to someone else if you are unable to attend.

Tier 1:

($450) is for individuals who may be living on a tight budget or have limited financial resources. They may have limited income and may be struggling to make ends meet. They may be students, low-income workers, or those who are retired on a fixed income. They might not have the financial means to travel for leisure, they may opt for nearby and low-cost options like day trips or free activities. They may have little to no savings, and may not have investments. They may be living in a shared room to save on living expenses.

Tier 2:

($575) is for those who have an average income and are able to afford a moderate amount for the class. They may be working professionals or middle-income individuals. They may be able to afford some extra luxuries, but still need to be mindful of their budget. They may have some savings, but not much disposable income to invest. They may rent a small apartment or a room. They may be able to afford a vacation once or twice a year, but it may be a budget-friendly option or a staycation.

Tier 3:

($700) is for individuals who have a higher income and are able to afford a higher priced class. They may be business owners, executives, or high-income professionals. They may have more disposable income and may be able to afford more expensive activities.  They may have a significant amount of savings and investments, and may own an apartment. They may travel frequently for leisure, whether it be domestic or international, and stay in upscale accommodations.

Tier 3: $700

Friday - March 8th

• 2-3pm - Registration
• 3-6pm - First Infinite Play session
• 6-7pm - Dinner
• 7-9pm - Second Infinite Play Session
• 9pm - End of first day

Saturday - March 9th

• 7-8am - Optional silent, quiet, reflective solo time
• 8-9am - Breakfast
• 9-12pm - Third Infinite Play session
• 12-1pm - Lunch
• 1-3:30pm - R&R afternoon (journaling, hiking, reading, resting, pool)
• 3:30-6pm - Fourth Infinite Play Session
• 6-7pm - Dinner
• 7-9pm - Group hang time - fire, music, stories, dancing
• 9pm - End of second day

Sunday - March 10th

• 7-8am - Optional silent, quiet, reflective solo time
• 8-9am - Breakfast
• 9-12pm - Final Infinite Play session
• 12-1pm - Lunch
• 1-2pm - Closing Circle
• 2pm - Checkout 

Venue

Mariandale Center is a former convent that now hosts all types of groups for retreats on its campus near Croton-Harmon, New York. The center values diversity of expression of spirituality.

The campus is located on the Hudson River and has beautiful views of the river and surrounding forest, with hiking trails throughout campus.
